Rebate!
I received my rebate check from E-power a few days ago! No hassle, no fuss, and it was within the state 10-12 weeks. So I haven't any more to say on that.

Now what was I going to write....?
Well I finally did it, I ordered more memory for my computer. It should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to see an actual performance improvement. I got my XP cd so I was able to put it in a virtual machine, and I loaded and updated the whole thing. It just runs sort of slowly with the 512mb of memory I alloted it, well streamed video is jumpy. So I'm hoping with the upgrade it will zoom. Then I'll see about making it seamless. I may also look into changing which version of VirtualBox I use, as apparently there are some limitations to the OSE version that I currently use.
I don't know if the extra memory will speed up Oblivion any or not either. I run it through Wine, but I have a suspicion that the bottleneck lies with the graphics card memory rather than the system memory.
Anyways I ordered the memory through Newegg, since it was on sale, and it had a rebate, so I'll be sending that in quickly and we'll see how well that works out.
