Tweaking

I get annoyed with Pidgin's tool tips.  They come up so quickly that it makes it difficult to just see who is on.  I found that there are extended preferences, which allows the user to turn off tool tips entirely, or simply increase the time before a tool tip pops up.  It is in the Ubuntu repositories, and can be downloaded via synaptic.  The package is pidgin-extpref, or something near enough.

Keeping Track

So I decided to reinstall Hardy Heron. I had mucked things up with the experimental NVidia drivers, so I decided since I didn't make my /home directory my /home directory the last time, and ended up with two, I'd just reinstall.

So I added the medibuntu repository and added those things.

I'll be adding support for my Wacom Tablet by using this How-To
