An extra step

To get the Pixma 620b to work on the network for Ubuntu computers running Koala (9.10) one has to take an extra step to get it to work. Since the needed files from libcupsys2 are not in the new repositories. Leon Atkinson outlines how to do this.

Wacom now so easy

So I was a bit leery to try to go through and install my Wacom tablet again on the new install of Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) because of installing it on previous versions. Not that it was too entirely difficult, just a bit tedious to go through all of the commands and then get it configured properly. I decided though I was going to tackle the task. In Karmic, my Wacom Bamboo tablet is plug and play! This O/S is moving in leaps and bounds, this is by far the best version yet!
